Don't fall victim to fatigue, recover and GO AGAIN RECOVERY SUMMARY: Taken within 30 minutes of finishing your workout RECOVERY uses natural carbohydrates (sweet potato and honey) to help blunt the oxidative stress which occurs during exercise. The product is further reinforced with whey protein isolate and micellar casein offering a fast and slow drip feed of protein amino acids to re-build muscle fibres torn through exercise. NATURAL CARBOHYDRATES: SWEET POTATO & HONEY When you eat a lot of carbohydrates on their own your body's sugar level will peak stimulating insulin to be released. This insulin peak will invariably be followed by a dip making you feel tired/sluggish/wanting more carb-based foods to sustain energy levels. By having sweet potato and protein mixed with honey powder - the athlete will get the quick hit of energy (sugar, (honey)) to replenish the muscles and then the sweet potato helps blood sugar levels from peaking and dipping. PROTEIN SOURCES: WHEY ISOLATE & CASEIN RECOVERY's unique protein profile combines grass fed whey protein isolate with micellar casein protein. This provides the user with a FAST and SLOW protein source. The whey protein is absorbed quick, and provides the user with a hit of amino acids for circa 3 1/2 hours after consumption. To continue the recovery process micellar casein kicks in delivering amino acids for twice as long.
